Widely acclaimed as one of the most sustainable and durable fabrics, linen is made from the flax plants, with a minimal impact on the environment.
The resilient plant leaves a low water footprint, contains no GMOs, and provides no waste, as the whole plant can be used in the process, while the flax seeds become a by-product in the food industry.
Linen is highly absorbent and breathable, and comes with a surprising quality – it is known to naturally repel insects. Its long heritage dates back to ancient Mesopotamia and Egypt.
Apart from looking highly elevated and preciously textured, linen is completely biodegradable and recyclable.
Incomparably soft, light and precious, exclusively obtained after the silkworms naturally emerge their cocoons. By using this non-violent technique, the fabric maintains all its precious properties and spares the developing moths from being boiled alive, as it is done in the traditional silk-making method.
The newly obtained peace silk sets a new standard of quality and a connaisseur worthy texture, with its hypoallergenic properties, as the cocoons are carefully spun by skilled craftsmen using unique technologies.
The exquisitely light peace silk is 100% biodegradable, renewable, recyclable, making it one of the most exclusive sustainable materials in the world, establishing a new frontier of excellence.

Piñatex by Ananas Anam is a natural, non-woven material made from pineapple leaf fibre which can be used as an alternative to leather and petroleum-based textiles. It is made from pineapple leaf fibre, which is a by-product of the agriculture industry. No extra land, water or pesticides are required to produce the raw material.
The dyes used for Piñatex are GOTS approved and the resins comply with AFIRM standards. Piñatex is also REACH compliant.
The Piñatex journey starts in the Philippines where the pineapple leaves, a by-product of the pre-existing agriculture industry, are collected. The leaves (of the plant, not the fruit) are processed to extract the fibres and these are manufactured into a non-woven substrate. The Substrate is then sent to Spain where it is finished into Piñatex and sent worldwide. Ananas Anam has its Headquarters in London, UK.
